Publication fee

Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences is an open access journal freely available to all readers. To publish in Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences, authors are asked to pay the publication fee, which applies to the articles accepted for publication after peer-review and possible revision of the manuscript. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article.

The publication fees for all published articles are as follows:

Poland	PLN 2398.50 (23% VAT included) – publication fee
All other countries	€ 450 (+23% VAT if applicable, e.g., for private persons) – publication fee

Accepted articles will not be published until payment has been received. Refunds are not possible once article has been published.

On-line payment can be made after logging to the Editorial System.

In case this is impossible for any reason, payment can be also made by bank transfer directly to the following account:

Regulations of paying publication fee via on-line payment

These regulations define the rules of payment of the publication fee for the manuscripts accepted for publication in Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences.
The service Organizer is Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn, having its registered office at Tuwima 10, 10-748 Olsztyn, Poland, NIP 7390504515, REGON 001289340.
On-line payment service is provided by PayU SA, having its registered office in Poznań, at ul. Grunwaldzka 182, 60-166 Poznań, Poland, Poland, entered in the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court Poznań - Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, VIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under the number 0000274399, NIP 779-23-08-495, REGON 300523555.
Before making payment through the on-line portal, the user accepts these Regulations and simultaneously agrees that the Organizer can process the user’s personal data for the purposes related to publication process and issuing the invoice. The author’s personal data will be kept confidential and not be used for other purposes.
On-line payment can be made by the user having account in the Editorial System accessible from the website of Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences. After logging to the Editorial System and clicking the button Payment, the user will be redirected to the PayU portal supporting on-line payments.
After completing payment of the fee indicated in proforma invoice, the user will receive an email confirmation of the transaction to the address indicated in the account, and the final invoice.
Accepted articles will not be published until payment has been received. Refunds are not possible once the article has been published.
The Organizer bears no responsibility if the user supplies false or misleading information, if the user cannot access the on-line payment portal as a result of using wrong browser, incorrect configuration of software or hardware.
The Organizer reserves the right to change these Regulations. The Organizer will inform about the change in the Regulations on the website of Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences. In this case, changes in the Regulations come into force on the day of their publication on the website and do not have retroactive effect.

W latach 2022-2024 kwartalnik naukowy Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences realizuje projekt nr RCN/SP/0520/2021/1 finansowany ze środków budżetu państwa – Ministerstwo Edukacji i Nauki w ramach programu „Rozwój czasopism naukowych”. Dofinansowanie wynosi 120 000 zł. W ramach projektu podejmowane są działania zmierzające do podniesienia poziomu praktyk wydawniczych i edytorskich, zwiększenia wpływu czasopism na rozwój nauki oraz utrzymania się czasopism w międzynarodowym obiegu naukowym.

In the years 2022-2024, the scientific quarterly Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences accomplishes a project no. RCN/SP/0520/2021/1 financed from the state budged – Ministry of Education and Science Republic of Poland in the framework of a program “Development of scientific journals”. The financing amounts to 120,000 PLN. The program aims at improving the level of publishing and editing practices, increasing the impact of scientific journals on science development, and extending the international range of scientific journals.
